On the Tools Awards - Supporting tradespeople through challenging times

Trade Direct Insurance proudly sponsored the On the Tools Special Recognition Award 2023, won by Scott Reid the owner of Glagow-based Stratum Masonry, a stonemasonry company specialising in working with traditional buildings throughout Scotland. Stratum Masonry was founded by Scott Reid, whose family has been involved within the Stonemasonry industry for generations.

Scott was recognised for his company’s work in preserving the rich history and heritage of the Scottish environment. The business has worked on preserving and restoring some of Scotland's most prestigious buildings, making them one of the fastest-growing stonemasonry firms since launching in 2019.

On top of that, Scott received £1,000 in prize money and a special 'Barry Head' trophy!"

Accepting his award on the night, Scott Reid of Stratum Masonry said:
